After a restful first night’s sleep in Palm Beach, it’s time to head north. A comfortable drive up the coast should put you in Savannah around mid-afternoon, giving you just enough time to do a little shopping before dinner. Lucky for you, upscale designer boutiques can be found all over town, from the Mint Boutique in downtown Savannah to the BleuBelle Boutique on the city’s south side.
For fine dining, you can’t throw a stick in Savannah without hitting a four- or five-star option. From Alligator Soul to the Olde Pink House, there’s no wrong choice. The contemporary low-country cuisine at a.lure, however, is especially outstanding. Be sure not to miss the braised rabbit “open ravioli” appetizer to start the meal, or their bourbon chocolate pecan pie to end it.
