What’s the best thing about RV Life? Being able to see scenes like this every single day, and never getting bored, because you can change your scenery whenever you choose. Thank you to @thorindustries, for inviting us to share our #windowtotheworld as a #thorpartner. We loved the many colors of the sunset, and being able to fully enjoy it from the banks of the Mississippi River. Thank you to our RV friends who suggested we stay at Tom Sawyer RV Park, where we could see sunsets like this while watching the boats go by. If we could share one #RVLifestyle tip for you, it would be to ask your friends where to stay, and look online for reviews and photos of any areas you plan to visit. It didn’t take us long at all to learn that every RV park or campground is different. In the same trip, you can go from being so close to your neighbor that you can touch their camper without leaving yours to having so much room you forget you have neighbors at all. Your friends online are the best source for knowing what you’ll get before you get there. #rvliving #rvlife #rv #rvroadtrip #rvwithus #RVing #rvtravel #fulltimerv #rvadventure #RVliving #rvcouple #rvlifestyle #rvculture #5thwheel #liveyouradventure #camperlife #rvcommunity #homeiswhereyouparkit #lifeontheroad #heartlandrvs #heartlandbighorn #lifeontheroad #homeonwheels #throwbacktuesday

Who’s your favorite travel buddy & why?

Our favorite travel buddy is our cat Ollie, even though he sometimes acts like a jerk.

What’s your favorite part about this view & why?

The colors of this sunset. It amazed us how many colors we could see. Simply turning towards a different window resulted in an entirely different experience.

How do you decide where to go next?

We try to avoid traveling more than 300 miles at a time. We choose locations that offer something we both want to experience. Then we schedule stops in between to ensure that we aren’t over-extending ourselves on driving days.

Which views are on your bucket list & why?

I would keep water in our view at all times if possible, while Brandon is looking forward to seeing the mountains of Colorado. For us, it’s just about experiencing new things and surrounding ourselves with the peace of nature.

What’s one piece of advice you have for RVers?

Plan ahead for your trips. Ask your friends for suggestions and use online photos and reviews to help you choose. We likely wouldn’t have found this amazing spot without the recommendation from our friends.
