Mack and Christina Griffin believe in slowing down and noticing the little things—so much that they uprooted their lives to live in an RV. Based on the Emerald Coast of Florida, they spend their time taking their two dogs, Rebel and Tiger, for long walks and beach runs; can separately be found at workout class (Crossfit for him & Barre class for her); and soaking up every cotton candy sunset (& an occasional sunrise) that the coast has to offer.

Why do you like it here?
We’ve lived here for over three years and we love it. The white, sandy beaches of the Florida panhandle are the most beautiful in the United States. We go to the beach year-round and enjoy that our home truly has that small-town vibe.
Who's your favorite travel buddy?
Mack is my favorite travel buddy of all time. We have the opportunity to move a lot with Mack’s job, so we get to see a ton of new places. Whenever we move, we always make a point to turn our road trips into a vacation by stopping to see certain places, even if only for the night. It’s so fun to travel, try new restaurants and experience new towns with my husband and pets.
What noteworthy places are nearby?
Miramar Beach is perfectly situated between Destin and 30A. Scenic Highway 30A is Florida’s best kept secret. It’s sprinkled with picturesque beach towns featuring manicured lawns, amazing architecture and beach-chic everything. If you’re in the Florida panhandle, 30A is the place you want to go. Be sure to head to The Pearl in Rosemary Beach for rooftop drinks, The Red Bar in Grayton for live music and the Five Daughters Bakery Airstream in Seaside. And Topsail Hill Preserve State Park is a wonderful campground for lodging.
What's your favorite part about this view?
That it’s totally my own. My puppies, my husband and I thrive living a simple life. I am most grateful when I look into my own window and remain thankful for all we have.
How do you decide where to go next?
We have plans to travel to staple stops in the South, including Savannah, Georgia, Fairhope, Alabama, Charleston, South Carolina, and the list goes on. We love the Southern culture, hospitality and charm that can be found throughout this region.
What's one piece of advice you have for RVers?
Take each learning experience with a grain of salt. There’s a lot to learn but it will lead to a lot of laughs.
