The Russells love exploring new places around the country with their kids. Justin photographs the beautiful sights they experience along the way, while Michelle writes stories for their family blog. And their dogs love hanging out with the family, no matter where they go.

We are so psyched to be working with @thorindustries as a #thorpartner. Our #windowtotheworld comes from Gulf Shores, Alabama. This location introduced us to the most gorgeous sunsets. Traveling is like pouring magic on your life––you get to see sights that most people don’t, and visit locations only known to locals. Traveling in our RV has sparked a flame within our souls and brought us astounding memories we want to share with everyone.

Why do you like it here?
It gives us a little slice of heaven. We originally came here to visit some friends who moved to the area a few years ago. They were once full-time RVers, but after they took a work campers gig here, they fell in love with the cool, relaxed, beachy vibe and decided to settle down. So we love spending time with our friends here.
What’s your favorite part about this view & why?
It reminds us of two special moments that happened together: we reunited with our friends who live here, and it’s the first time our whole family saw the Gulf of Mexico. It was so heartwarming to be with people we care for deeply and get to enjoy such an incredible view together.
How do you decide where to go next?
After exploring the west for so long, we knew we wanted to spend this next year exploring the east and Canada. For the next few months we’ll be roaming all over Florida before we start heading north.
Which views are on your bucket list & why?
I can’t wait to watch the manatees swimming in the springs, and the sunset in the Keys. These are sights that I’ve only seen in books and in movies and that I can’t wait to experience first-hand.
What’s one piece of advice you have for RVers?
The RV community is spectacular. Every time you have a chance to meet another RVer, go for it! The community has opened our hearts and eyes to a world of kindness and acceptance. People are so loving and unique. It’s our new tribe.
