THOR Industries takes its responsibility to protect and respect human rights seriously, and we operate our business in accordance with internationally recognized human rights. More specifically, we’re dedicated to creating a workplace that respects and values people with diverse backgrounds, which enables all of our team members to do their best work.
This policy represents our commitment to maintaining and promoting certain fundamental human rights standards throughout our organization, as well as and to making THOR a great place to work. It confirms that THOR Industries has joined the United Nations Global Compact, and that we support the U.N. Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the U.N. Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, and the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises. This policy also establishes our expectations: no discrimination or harassment on the basis of a protected characteristic; compensation and benefits that are fair, equitable, and commensurate with the work performed; a healthy and safe work environment; a supply chain free of child labor, forced labor, slavery, and human trafficking; freedom of association; and business conducted in an environmentally sustainable manner .
This policy affirms our commitment to providing equal employment opportunities for all, without regard to certain protected characteristics. It also declares our commitment to preventing discrimination and harassment. THOR prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type. We also encourage a diverse, multi-talented workforce. In addition to covering all personnel decisions and actions, this policy provides a hotline for reporting suspected violations.
We are eager to share the many impactful sustainability initiatives Erwin Hymer Group has undertaken as we continue our integration of EHG into the THOR Industries family of companies.
