Why do you like it here?

This little ghost town is home to some friendly and interesting people. They welcomed me with open arms and treated me as one of their own. I went to a BBQ one night at a local’s house where a bunch of people came to hang for the night, drink good tequila, and look at the stars. I ended up staying for a few more days than I planned since the company was so amazing.

Who's your favorite travel buddy?

Well, my whole “thing” is solo travel. On this trip I was alone for 2 months, so my best travel companions were the hosts of podcasts: Ira Glass, Jad Abumrad, Robert Krulwich, Joe Rogan, Krista Tippet, and Christopher Ryan just to name a few.

What’s your favorite part about this view?

One thing I love about being on the road is waking up and making a delicious pot of coffee while looking out at the view wherever I happen to be parked.

Which views are on your bucket list?

Oh man, there are so many. Right now Japan and Norway are at the top of my list. Specifically I want to look out a window and see the cherry blossoms in Kyoto, and the fjords of Norway.

What's one piece of advice you have for RVers?

Keep an open mind in all regards. If you’re parked at an RV park, be willing to meet your neighbors. And while on the road, don’t be afraid to take unexpected detours just to see what might be at the end of that road. You never know what you might find.
